Ros Sutherland has established links with Mathematics Educators in Mexico since sharing an office with Teresa Rojano in 1985. There have been several collaborative projects between the UK and Mexico since that time.

Most recently, MERN has hosted two academics from Mexico and have a doctoral student completing her field work in Mexico.
