Eczema resources

Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), researchers in the skin and allergy group at Centre for Academic Primary Care have created the following resources, which are free to download and use:

  • The Eczema Written Action Plan (EWAP) is a patient-held document, designed to be completed with your doctor or nurse, so you can look after your child’s eczema at home and know when to contact your GP for help.
  • The Moisturiser Decision Aid is a two-sided document, which can be used by parents, older children with eczema or health care professionals, to help decide which moisturisers to use to treat eczema.
  • Eczema Care Online is an excellent online educational evidence-based resource, for parents, carers, children and young adults with eczema, developed in partnership with the Universities of Southampton and Nottingham.
