Stephen Gray and Elanor Hinton to present at the next CRICBristol CRAFTS Sessions

29 October 2015

Since their return on October 8 2015 CRAFTS sessions at CRICBristol have proved to be productive and well attended events, with researchers and academics making use of the opportunity to share ideas on the topic of discussion.

The next upcoming session is to be held on November 5, when Stephen Gray will be discussing the potential and benefits of publishing research data using the University of Bristol's Research Data Repository.

Stephen is a Senior Research Data Librarian at Bristol's Library Services, while he is also studying for a PhD in the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Then, on November 19, Research Associate Dr Elanor Hinton will be giving a presentation on the many applications of Arterial Spin Labelling (ASL), which is one of a number of techniques carried out by the 3T Siemens Magnetom Skyra MRI Scanner at CRICBristol.

Dr Hinton is a member of the Bristol Nutrition Biomedical Research Unit, and is involved in several currently ongoing projects at CRICBristol.

If you are interested in giving a talk on your chosen area of research at a future CRAFTS session, please contact Dr Jonathan Brooks at Jon.Brooks@bristol.ac.uk or Sandra Berlau Neumann at sandra.neumann@bristol.ac.uk. Each session takes place in the CRICBristol seminar room and refreshments are available.
