Management Team

The Management Team is responsible for the overall organisation and management of the CDT and its programmes. It is made up of specialists from both engineering and health sciences.

Current Students

Our students undertake a one-year taught programme before embarking on a three-year PhD research project. We are now in our third year of the programme.

Supervisory Network

Our Supervisory Network is made up of over 110 academics from across the University and beyond. They have a wide range of different specialisms spanning engineering, medicine, health sciences and social sciences. Please note it is not necessary to approach supervisors before applying to the programme: students assemble their supervisory team over the course of their first taught year.
