Capital Projects Office

The Capital Projects Office is a department within the Estates Office and is responsible for all stages of the procurement of major projects from the preparation of the initial brief, to the final handover of a completed and functioning facility.

We initiate and co-ordinate input from the users plus other key University departments, including Computing / IT Services, Security Services, Health and Safety, Purchasing and Site Services. Prior to seeking final approval for the project we check that the University is getting best value for money and will ensure that contracts are awarded on a competitive basis.
