Within Campus Division, our mission is to make, manage and maintain our welcoming University; caring for our students, staff and the campus whilst minding the impact we have on our environment as we work.
Our aim in the Campus Division is to sustain and grow the University as a top 50 global higher education institution, whilst meeting our 2030 carbon neutrality target. Our goals are:
- To provide the right assets (learning, research, residential, administration & wellbeing) in the right places at the right cost; ensuring our student, colleague and visitor’s campus experience is the best it can be with the resources available.
- Increase our value for money, overall efficiency and utilisation, as well as reduce our asset base and make it more efficient. This will enable a higher level of investment in the maintenance and development of a future estate capable of meeting the University’s Strategy.
- Reduce our overall operational costs, maintain our income and consolidate our approach to our services to ensure they are fit for purpose for the next decade.
This work is all underpinned by continuous improvement, excellent management information and a rigorous attention to the health and safety of our activities via a well-managed, systemised division renowned for its leadership at all levels.
