How to get involved: project forum
The SAPPUR online project forum has been set up to provide an opportunity for experts to discuss different aspects of the SAPPUR project. Topics for discussion might include:
- cross-cutting issues, such as definitions ('hazard', 'risk', 'vulnerability', 'exposure' and more...); visualisation and the graphic communication of risk and uncertainty; decision support, risk communication and perception; unintended and unforeseen consequences and impacts (ontological uncertainty)
- identifying best practice in UK natural hazards research, internationally, or in other, complementary areas of science, such as medicine
- methodological issues, generic or hazard-specific
In order to leave comments, or get involved in expert discussions, you will need to register to use the site. To do this you will need to click on the link above and follow the instructions for registration.
