Overview

Building on the success of our previous two Industry Days, this year we are running an interactive event, focusing on health-related research as well as building and strengthening links with industry. It will provide engagement opportunities for industrialists and external stakeholders to meet researchers and explore areas of mutual interest potentially leading to future partnerships.

The day will showcase world leading biomedical and health-related translational research, expertise and facilities at the University of Bristol and feature pitches and presentations from leading industry/external stakeholders within the fields of biomedical and health sciences.

We will hear from researchers undertaking collaborative projects with industry, as well as hearing from external stakeholders about research challenges and opportunities for collaboration.

Themed sessions will cover population health, cardiovascular, regenerative medicine, neuroscience, infection, immunity & cancer as well as tools and technologies and digital health.

Networking sessions are interspersed throughout the day to allow opportunities for knowledge exchange and relationship building.

Event aims:

  • share Bristol’s expertise and experience in core enabling technologies
  • highlight the skills and knowledge across our faculties
  • provide a platform for the development of new partnerships and collaboration opportunities
  • hear from leading industry experts to understand challenges and explore how the University of Bristol can support industry’s innovation agenda
