Art of Science Competition

Creative science

The annual Art of Science Competition allows researchers to show their creative side and share their work with the public.

It’s time to swap your pipettes for paintbrushes and get creative, as this November Art of Science is back!

Art of Science is a competition which challenges you to explore the relationship between art and science through entering a piece inspired by either your own research, or the university and world around you.

The exhibition will begin on Friday 6 November 2015, running for one week in the Life Sciences Building, with final submission deadline at the end of October. And of course, there will be fabulous prizes to be won!

More information will follow, but in the meantime don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date.

How to enter

We will soon be opening the competition for entries to Art of Science 2015, so it’s time to get your modelling clay, meccano®, and microscopes at the ready!

Previous winners

Over the past 12 years, we have seen the quantity and quality of entrants rise year on year, and this will be no exception. Need some inspiration? Examples of previous year's entrants can be found below.
