Events

Throughout the year, the Bristol Colloid Centre organises a number of events that are aimed at engaging the scientific community at all levels on topics relevant to colloid science.

The events held range from taught courses, such as the annual Spring School in Colloid Science and a range of more specialist short courses, the BCC "awareness forum"- one day meetings where specialists in particular fields meet to present on an exciting area of colloid science (e.g. targeted release - April 2005), and the Colloid Group Science Day where current PhD students in the colloid sector of the School of Chemistry give presentations on their current work.

Often, staff from the BCC and the Bristol Colloid Group present research at scientific meetings in the UK and overseas. Also, the BCC is made aware of a host of events that are relevant to many of the people we interact with on a daily basis.
