About the Worldwide Universities Network
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) is a leading global higher education and research network of 25 universities across six continents, committed to working together to support research and education in areas of global significance.
WUN supports a diverse range of activities across disciplines, establishing international research groups by providing resources, contacts and advice. Through its Research Development Fund, WUN supports collaborative research that addresses the overarching theme of sustainable development, including in the following areas:
- Social justice and human rights; inequality
- Sustainable world: cities and urbanization; energy transitions; water, and food security
- Mental health; child and maternal health; ageing
- Responsible and ethical applications of Artificial Intelligence
WUN also runs a series of Early Career Researcher webinars, facilitated by members of the network. This year's sessions are facilitated by the Researcher Development and Research Culture team at the University of Leeds.
