This unit provides an opportunity for students to pursue a clearly defined specialist interest under the guidance of one of the academic team. Students will be able to explore topics in more depth than is offered within existing taught units in TB2. The Supervised Individual Study permits students to develop under supervision an expertise in an area which interests them, which can prepare them more fully for the MA dissertation, or which can broaden out their range of skills and expertise in preparation for further research at doctoral level.
