Open days

Our next open days for prospective undergraduates will take place on Friday 25 June and Wednesday 22 September 2010. The booking form for the June date will be available from early May. The specific date will be released soon on this site. Please check back for more information.

Open days and tours 2010

Open days offer a fantastic opportunity to find out about the University of Bristol. You will have the chance to talk to members of staff and ask about the many different programmes on offer and the support available. You will also get to meet our current students and talk to them about what it’s like to live and study here. Most importantly, you'll be able to get a ‘feel' for the University, which will help you decide whether or not Bristol is somewhere you'd like to spend your university years. The open days are primarily for prospective undergraduate students, but we realise that there may be visitors in your party who are interested in postgraduate study. Postgraduate advisors will be on hand at all open days.

Information sessions for mature students

The sessions feature a short talk by the Mature Students’ Adviser, and current students will be available to share their experiences of studying at Bristol. There will also be an opportunity to tour the University facilities. The sessions are held during term-time, so it will not be possible to speak to admissions tutors or visit specific departments during these sessions.

Dates for mature students information sessions 2010

Tuesday 27 April, 2010 2 pm - 4 pm
Wednesday 26 May, 2010 2 pm - 4 pm

Departmental open days

After you apply, you may be invited to a departmental open day or for an interview. These visits enable applicants to see the department and to meet academics. More information will be automatically sent to you, if applicable.

Our degree programmes

If you haven't yet applied to the University of Bristol but are thinking that you might like to study here it would be a good idea to look at our undergraduate prospectus. The prospectus provides information on all of the programmes we offer as well as information and advice from current students. Further information on how to apply can be found on our how to apply page.

Lovely atmosphere, very helpful student guides - overall a well organised and useful day
