Description including Unit Aims

The academic session is spent at a German university, undertaking a range of law units units not taken at the University of Bristol, according to a jointly approved programme.

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit a successful student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate improved fluency in Germanlanguage
  • Explain in German key principles of German law
  • Demonstrate a grounding in key elements of German law and the German legal system
