Interstitial lung disease research

The interstitial lung diseases (ILD) are a heterogenous group of disorders with varying degrees of lung inflammation and scarring (or fibrosis). Our clinical service oversees the largest ILD population in the south west of England. Through our research we hope to drive the development of new treatments, improve patient care and help inform decision making on health policies.
