Getting to Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus
Find out the different travel options for getting to and from Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus (TQEC).
TQEC is close to Bristol city centre and is well connected by a range of transport options. You are responsible for funding your own travel to TQEC and other University locations.
Train
Our new campus is directly connected to the new station entrance at Bristol Temple Meads. Regular trains run between Temple Meads and Clifton Down, which is a 10–15‑minute walk from the Clifton Campus. Students can access discounted fares with a 16–25 Railcard (also available for mature students in full-time education).
Bus
Several bus routes serve the area around TQEC and between campuses. From August 2026, the First Bus No. 8 service will be extended to stop at a new bus stop beside TQEC, with three extra buses increasing frequency to every 8–10 minutes and a fully electric fleet. You may be able to get help with the cost of a First Bus travel pass if you receive certain bursaries or financial support from us.
TQEC is also convenient for park‑and‑ride connections.
Walking
Walking from the Clifton Campus to TQEC takes about 40 minutes.
Cycling
Cycling takes 15–20 minutes, with indoor and outdoor cycle parking available.
E scooters
The University is working with Dott to ensure accessible e‑scooter availability near the campus. Privately owned e‑scooters cannot be used or parked.
Car
TQEC is a pedestrianised campus, with parking limited to disabled and essential vehicles. Nearby public car parks are available if driving is necessary.
