Depending on your course, you’ll have opportunities to take part in work-based learning throughout your degree. These may include professional placements, real-world challenges and industry consultancy projects. These experiences are supported by dedicated School Employability Consultants and our Professional Liaison Network, which builds partnerships with employers to enhance student learning. Alongside this,

the Business School offers careers and employability activities including sector insight talks, company visits, mock interviews and networking dinners.

As Bristol is a hub for startups, some of our graduates go on to launch their own businesses, while others join graduate schemes in the public and private sectors, continue to postgraduate study or pursue careers in finance, marketing or management consultancy. Recent employers include KPMG, European Central Bank, IBM, UK government and the NHS.
