Overview
You will be studying Cognitive Neuroscience in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience where you will be part of a vibrant postgraduate community within a world-class research department lead by internationally recognised academic staff.
Cognitive neuroscience is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the biological basis of the mind, bridging psychology and neuroscience. It explores how physical brain structures and neural circuits produce perception, cognition and behaviour.
The programme delivers outstanding cutting-edge training, and you will produce new research that significantly advances our understanding in Cognitive Neuroscience. Our postgraduate students are a central part of the school's research culture and a key component in maintaining our international research reputation.
Entry requirements
A first or upper second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in psychology, neuroscience or a related discipline is required for entry to the PhD and MSc by research programmes.
