MSc Nuclear Science and Engineering bursaries

Funding towards living costs for home-fee paying MSc Nuclear Science and Engineering students.

A number of bursaries of £6,500 are available to help cover living costs.

These vary from year to year; for example, in the 2025/26 academic year, we awarded 18 bursaries to home students.

These bursaries are funded by industry partners, including:

  • TNIBF
  • DESNZ
  • EPR Engineering
  • Sellafield Ltd
  • Rolls-Royce.

Eligibility

You can apply if you: 

  1. are a Home student for tuition fee purposes 
  2. have an offer to start the MSc Nuclear Science and Engineering programme at the University of Bristol.
