    Kate is an experienced coach who helps people facing change in a supportive and productive way. Her approach is empathetic, enabling clients to tap into their strengths and also confront barriers that may be preventing them from taking action or moving on. As a practitioner in Myers Briggs Type Indicator she can help clients explore differences in personality type, and how these may play out in the work place.

    Kate works for both the internal Staff Coaching Service and Counselling Service, and runs workshops for both professional services and academic staff in:

    • Building inner resilience
    • Exploring personality difference
    • Coaching skills

    In addition Kate works externally as a media and communications specialist with more than twenty years experience as a BBC TV journalist and documentary producer. She has run workshops for international organisations including the World Health Organisation and UNICEF in crisis communications, interview skills and understanding the media. She provides courses for academics within the University of Bristol in broadcast interview skills.
