Staff football club

The University Staff Football Club organise regular 5-a-side and 11-a-side games of football.

We are a large community of staff (including postgraduate research students) from across the University and our games are played in a friendly, respectful and competitive spirit. The group is mixed and welcoming to all.

5-a-side football

We organise lunchtime 5-a-side games during the week at the Indoor Sports Centre on Tyndall Avenue. There is often a wide range of football experience within our games, and all are welcome regardless of ability or regular availability. Games are advertised and communicated via our 5-a-side mailing list.

11-a-side football

We also organise regular group 11-a-side friendly games which take place outside working hours. Games are advertised and communicated via our 11-a-side mailing list.

Our club 11-a-side football team regularly play in friendly games against local football clubs and staff clubs associated with local organisations and universities.
