Objectives
- characterise physical levels and patterns of young people
 - identify locations visited by UK adolescents that are associated with different profiles of physical activity
 - determine what attracts adolescents to these types of locations and what features of the physical and social environment influence their reasons for visiting
 - development of new measures of the physical and social environment related to physical activity
 - describe aspects of the real or perceived environment associated with activity levels
 - to determine whether these factors differ by weight status, gender, ethnicity, social position
 - to determine whether these factors differ in urban environments compared with non-urban
 - to determine whether these factors change over time between primary school and secondary school
 - to identify targets for development of effective interventions
 - to inform and influence policy.
