As you are aware, the Great Run Company took the decision to cancel the Great Bristol 10k this year due to the coronavirus emergency and we are absolutely gutted!

However; we know you've all been training really hard and we want to continue to support our #WeAreBristol running community.

If you haven't already done so, please can you complete this form, giving us your details and indicating your preference so we can:
a) count you in for our virtual 10k

Make a donation
We understand that these are uncertain times for all of us so there is absolutely no obligation to turn all or part of your refund into a donation, but many of our runners who were intending on fundraising for a charity by taking part in the 10k asked us to make this an option on the form.  You can choose to give to the Healthy Minds programme (which is still continuing to support participants online) or the NHS charities

Healthy Minds

Our virtual 10k runners can still go the extra mile and combine their training with fundraising for the University of Bristol’s Healthy Minds programme. Support your own mental and physical wellbeing whilst raising funds to support the wellbeing of our students.

Physical activity has been proven to boost mood and reduce feelings of anxiety, stress and depression, and this idea is at the heart of Healthy Minds: it utilises the proven benefits of exercise to support Bristol students affected by mental health difficulties.

When you sign up to be one of our 10k fundraisers, you’ll gain access to an online community and receive regular fundraising tips and support from our 10k team. It’s easy to find out more and get started – just go to our campaign page on JustGiving and click ‘start fundraising’. Thank you for supporting student mental health!

Strava club

Join our new University of Bristol Sport club on Strava where you can log your runs, compare your training, view recent accomplishments, and chat with club members. With more people than ever getting out for a run during these strange times, it's a great way to keep engaged with our lovely #TeamUoBristol running community.
