On the 8th March a team from SPAIS successfully developed a workshop as part of the research project ‘Identifying routes to improve the sexual and reproductive health of the women of Malta in Northeast Brazil’. The event marked the municipal celebrations of international women’s day in Malta and contributed to draw attention to the importance of sexual and reproductive health among the citizens, being attended by the municipal administration and representatives of the cities’ women's groups. The project has been developed in partnership between UoB, the Federal University of Paraíba, and the City Hall of Malta. It is led by Egle Cesnulyte and supported by Xaman Minillo with funding from Elizabeth Blackwell Institute’s Global Public Health strand.
