We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for two calls under the Research Development International Collaboration Awards (RDICA) funding scheme.
-
The standard RDICA call is designed to catalyse, support and advance collaborative research development between University of Bristol (UoB) academics and colleagues from around the world, resulting in collaborative research funding bids where the Bristol PI is the lead. Maximum awards of £4k (up to £5k for focus on LMIC).
-
The RDICA Career Development Call specifically supports Early Career Researchers to establish long-term international research collaboration, by funding activities that demonstrate a pathway to external research grant funding. Maximum awards of £2500 (additional costs covered for focus on LMIC).
These calls fund activities such as short international visits and/or collaborative workshops that will take place between 1st February and 31 July 2027.
Application deadline for both calls: 23:59 on 11th November 2026
