Temple Quarter Engagement Fund
The Temple Quarter Engagement Fund was established in 2019 to enable staff and students to develop and deliver activities that fit with the values and ethos of our aspirations to be a global civic university. Supported by philanthropic donations and internal resources, it created partnership projects with communities that are currently underrepresented in our student cohort and research activities. It was uniquely placed to build a bridge between the University and the city and enable citizens from all walks of life to participate in and shape research, the student experience, and our infrastructure.
Seven funding calls took place between February 2020 and March 2022; details of the 40 funded projects can be found in this report: TQEF funding report (PDF, 193kB). More detailed case studies will be available soon.
