Poster sizes

Standard sizes

Posters can be printed in standard sizes A0, A1, A2. The paper sizes are: 

  • A0: 841 x 1189 mm (31.1 x 46.81 inches)
  • A1: 594 x 841 mm (23.39 x 33.1 inches)
  • A2: 420 x 594 mm (16.54 x 23.39 inches)

Bespoke sizes

Posters can be printed in custom sizes, up to 900 mm wide and 3 m in length.

Poster finishes

Posters can be printed onto matt or gloss papers, and matt posters can be laminated.

Posters can also be printed onto canvas.

Transporting posters

Cardboard and plastic heavy-duty carrier tubes are also available for sale.

Canvas posters can be loosely folded for transportation.

Cost

Check the Price list (PDF, 286kB) to see the cost of printing posters. Prices listed do not include VAT.

If the posters are educational material, and you are paying with a departmental charge code, then there is no VAT added to the price. 

If you pay with a personal credit or debit card, VAT is added to the cost stated on the price list.

Printing timeframe

Allow 24 hours for poster production.

Complete a Print form (PDF, 109kB) and email it to print-services@bristol.ac.uk.

Collect your order

Collect your order from the Print Services Office.

Alternatively:

  • we deliver to select locations for free
  • we can post your order to you using Royal Mail, postage fees will be added to your order total.
