Events

The Department of Philosophy runs an active program of events.

  • We host major international conferences and small informal workshops.
  • The weekly departmental research seminar is our core regular event, covering topics across the discipline. 
  • Work-in-progress sessions provide a platform for sharing ongoing research and receiving feedback.
    • The weekly postgraduate work-in-progress session is a dedicated friendly and supportive environment for postgraduate students
    • The weekly departmental work-in-progress session is for all members of the department. 
  • Specialised research talks are focused on particular areas of research interest.
  • Reading groups offer an informal setting for participants to discuss literature and research papers in a specific area of interest.
