Research interests
Dr Valentina Mosienko is a neuroscientist with a background in behavior neuroscience, and molecular and glial biology. In her group, they investigate causes, mechanisms and therapeutic targets in neuropsychiatric disorders. The current focus of her research is on non-neuronal mechanisms underlying depression through immune cells of the brain, astrocytes and microglia.
