I'm a researcher working on glacier mass balance estimation using techniques ranging from remote sensing and in situ datasets to physics-informed modelling. My PhD focused on machine learning methods for glacier mass balance estimation in the Himalayas. Presently, I am developing techniques by which uncertainty-aware estimates of glacier mass balance can be developed for all of the world's glaciers, using Bayesian and interpretable machine learning. This allows me to assess glacier mass changes in regions that have historically been difficult to monitor, and to better understand the processes driving these changes.
