I am interested in social and political values, both their links to positions in socio-demographic space and their influence on political behaviour. I primarily use large-scale quantitative data sources to investigate how these values have influenced voting behaviour at general elections, and more recently at the EU Referendum.

I am especially interested in the role of education in social values, particularly understanding how education 'liberalises' and the effects of an expanding HE sector in shaping political discourse and preferences.
