Biography
Research interests
Jonatan Sodergren (PhD) studies brands from cultural perspectives, often using qualitative methods. He is the guest editor of two special issues - Marketing Insights from Popular Culture and Poetics of Consumption - and is currently working on multiple projects related to topics such as:
- The market aestheticization of plant-based food
- Brands and the culltural transformation of masculinity
- How consumption spaces such as music venues create common culture
- Everyday practices of responsibilization in food consumption
- Consumer research as cultural critique
- The role of artistic thinking in theory development
