Research interests
I am currently working on NIHR funded projected evaluating the NHS Evidence Based Intervention (EBI) programme which aims to prevent avoidable harm to patients, avoid unnecessary operations, and free up clinical time by only offering interventions on the NHS that are evidence-based and appropriate. This utilises routinely colleced data from primary and secondary care to examine the use of these interventions and capture any spill over effects before and after the EBI programme.
I also work with the Research Design Service South West (RDS-SW), who support clinicians and acedemics to develop competetive applications to gain funding form NIHR and charities to undertake important research.
