Research interests
My research focuses on applied machine learning for resource-constrained and real-world systems. Cybersecurity research includes unsupervised anomaly detection and representation learning for IoT and edge devices. Digital health research covers pervasive health monitoring, human activity recognition, wearable sensing, surgical risk prediction, and stroke rehabilitation. I also apply machine learning to smart-city applications, including mobility and interventions. Across these areas, my research combines fundamental machine-learning techniques with the practical challenges of deploying efficient, robust models in constrained environments.
