Biography
I am a Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, leading the AHRC-funded project 'Beyond Voice: Experiences, meanings, and the ethics of silence in mental disorder'. Before this, I was a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the department. I completed my PhD in Philosophy as a Wellcome Trust Society and Ethics Scholar at Lancaster University, and my MA in political theory as a 75th Anniversary Scholar at the University of York. Between degrees, I worked in research and communication in the private and non-profit sectors in the UK, the US, and Sweden.
