Research interests
I am an NIHR Research Fellow and BPS-accredited Chartered Research Psychologist.
I lead projects broadly aimed at changing health behaviours. I use mixed methods to design and test interventions that address cardiovascular disease risk factors, including obesity, in primary care. My focus is on under-served groups such as ethnic minorities and people with severe mental illness.
I earned my DPhil in Primary Health Care from the University of Oxford, an MSc (Hons) in Clinical Neurodevelopment at King's College London, and a BSc in Psychology and Languages at University College London. At Oxford, I held several positions including Research Assistant, Research Associate, Lecturer, and Junior Dean. In 2024, I joined Bristol as a Senior Research Associate. In 2025, I started my first NIHR Fellowship. In 2026, I started my second NIHR Fellowship.
