Biography
My interdisciplinary doctorate examining international human rights law and climate justice in South Pacific Small Island Developing States was awarded by the University of Bristol in 2020. My PhD was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and included a three month visiting researcher appointment at the University of the South Pacific School of Law in Vanuatu.
I have previous experience working in the legal offices of international organisations and research institutes, including the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Council of Europe, and the Centre for the Law of EU External Relations (CLEER) at the T.M.C. Asser Institute.
Before returning to Bristol in January 2022, I worked as a Consultant Lecturer and Unit Coordinator in Regional Environmental Law for the University of the South Pacific and as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Exeter.
