2 December 2013

The University, in collaboration with Bristol City Council, will be hosting a question-and-answer session with the city’s elected Mayor, George Ferguson, in the Wills Memorial Building tomorrow [3 December].

The ‘Mayoral Question Time’ is designed to allow Ferguson to better engage and listen to Bristol citizens. The Mayor will respond to questions from residents on a range of issues.

David Alder, the University’s Director of Communications and Marketing, and facilitator of the session, said: ‘This question-and-answer event follows our recent hosting of the Mayor's address to mark his first year in office. We anticipate a lively evening with many questions and look forward to welcoming visitors to the Great Hall in the Wills Memorial Building.’

The event will take place in the Great Hall, Wills Memorial Building, Queen’s Road, BS8 1RJ at 7pm. Doors open at 6.30pm, and the event will finish at approximately 8pm. All are welcome, and the event is free, but please book places in advance as capacity is limited.

If you have any queries about the event, please contact Nicola Fry on +44 (0)117 928 8515 or nicola.fry@bristol.ac.uk.
