An article by Dr Evan Jones of the Department of Historical Studies on Tudor smuggling appears in this month's BBC History magazine, Britain's bestselling history magazine.

Dr Jones's new book on the subject, Inside the Illicit Economy: Reconstructing the Smugglers' Trade of Sixteenth Century Bristol, is published this month.
