Professor Keith Stanton from the University's Law School has been elected President of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) for 2011-12, the learned society for those who teach law in academia. Founded in 1908, the Society represents the interests of legal education and scholarship to the legal professions, government, funding councils and universities.
