Jeremy O'Brien, Professorial Research Fellow in Physics and Electrical Engineering, has won the
Institute of Physics Moseley Medal, awarded for distinguished research in experimental physics.
The citation explains that Professor O’Brien has been awarded the Medal ‘for his outstanding contributions to experimental quantum optics and quantum information science and in particular for pioneering the field of integrated quantum photonics’.
The Moseley Medal is the latest in a
series of
awards that Professor O’Brien has received for his work in quantum optics and quantum photonics.
