Professor Paul Gregg from the University's Centre for Market and Public Organisation was interviewed on BBC Radio Bristol’s Breakfast Show today [22 April] about his predictions for the Budget. Professor Gregg is an expert on welfare reform, labour markets, poverty, and education and child development. He was an economic adviser to Gordon Brown when he was at the Treasury and, in December 2008, he produced a report on welfare benefit reform, Realising Potential, for the Department of Work and Pensions. He is a member of the Centre for Economic Performance, LSE and a member of the London Child Poverty Commission.
