Two Bristol academics have received prestigious Royal Society Wolfson Merit Awards.

Professor Richard Evershed in the School of Chemistry and Professor Jens Marklof in the Department of Mathematics are the latest Bristol recipients of these awards, which recognise researchers of great potential or outstanding achievement.

The Royal Society Wolfson Merit Awards are funded by the Wolfson Foundation and the Office of Science and Technology to provide universities with additional support to enable them to attract and retain respected scientists of outstanding achievement and potential. The latest round continues the University’s strong track record in these awards.
