New programme of children’s intensive learn-to-swim and adult courses

A new week-long intensive swimming course for children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim or improve their stroke begins next month [11-15 August] at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton.

A week-long intensive swimming course for children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim or improve their stroke begins next month [11-15 August] at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton. 

All lessons are 30 minutes long and taught by experienced Amateur Swimming Association instructors. The course is for one week [11-15 August] and priced at £20.

Children’s intensive learn to swim course timetable

09.00 am Beginner  (non-swimmer)

09.30 am Beginner level 1 (5m swimmer)

10.00 am Beginner level 2 (10m swimmer)

10.30 am Improver (10/25m swimmer)

11.00 am Improver level 1 (25/50m swimmer)

11.30 am Pre club level (100m lane swimmer)

Classes for adults catering for all levels start every Wednesday from 20 August until 24 September (30 minute slots available from 5 pm to 6.30 pm) and every Saturday from 23 August until 27 September (30 minute slots available from 9 am to 11.30 am). The six-week course costs £30.

The University swimming pool is on Queen’s Road, Clifton and is part of the University’s Centre for Sport, Exercise & Health.
