A spinning pendulum experiment from the Bristol Laboratory for Advanced Dynamics Engineering ( BLADE) is featured in the current issue of Physical Review Focus, an online  publication of the American Institute of Physics that explains selected articles to students and other researchers.

The original work by Dr Jan Sieber of the University of Aberdeen (formerly at Bristol), Dr Alicia Gonzalez-Buelga, Dr Simon  Neild and Dr David  Wagg from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Professor Bernd Krauskopf from the Department of Engineering Mathematics appeared in the 20 June issue of Physical Review Letters.
