Dr Duncan Wass in the School of Chemistry has been awarded a 2007 Science and Engineering Grant by
Dupont. The unrestricted award of $10,000 recognises Dr Wass’s work on bioethanol transformations and its impact in the field of Green Chemistry. This was one of only two such awards made to UK academics out of a total of 27 given worldwide to reflect the full range of Dupont’s science and engineering activities.
