BN Sleep and Circadian Rhythms Research Hub symposium

Bristol Neuroscience's Sleep and Circadian Rhythms Research Hub are hosting a symposium in February 2025 that will encourage conversations and knowledge sharing across their wider community. 

Attendees from all career stages are invited to present their work during short (5 minute) “in-a-nut-shell” style presentations with 5-10 minutes for discussion. in addition, guest speaker Prof. Jason Rihel from UCL will deliver a talk on the interplay of sleep and synapse dynamics in Zebrafish. 

Jason Rihel is Professor of Behavioural Genetics in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. 

PTG labs has kindly offered to sponsor the event so there will be coffee breaks, lunch and a bar in room D3 afterwards. The event will be followed up with a move to the Reception Room in Will’s Memorial Building to attend Prof. James Hodge’s inaugural lecture tentatively entitled “Time for what really makes Dr Fly tick” which will begin at 17.45.
