History of the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN)

This event will explore the history and future of the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN), being that it was founded five years ago in 2019.

This will be a space to learn what UKRN does, what its plans are, and ask any questions relating to its work.

The UK Reproducibility Network is a national peer-led consortium that aims to ensure the UK retains its place as a centre for world-leading research. It currently comprises over 70 local networks of researchers, and 40 institutional members, as well as having a large stakeholder engagement group comprising major funders, publishers, learned societies and other sectoral organisations. It was founded in 2019, and its core team is hosted by the University of Bristol. This event will describe why UKRN was formed, how it is trying to achieve its aims, and where it is going.
