AI and the Future of Society

Part of the Jean Golding Institute's Bristol Data Week 2024

In recent years, progress in AI technology has accelerated at an extraordinary rate, but how much of our lives are influenced by AI? What role will AI play in our lives in the future? And what role will it play in the future of the city of Bristol and beyond?

Be part of the conversation into how AI and data has the potential to reshape and transform our lives. During the day, this will include a panel discussion, free networking lunch, and an interactive podcast recording. In the evening, join us for nibbles and drinks followed by our public lecture from Professor Genevieve Liveley on 'Science Fiction or Science Fact: How stories have shaped the way we see AI.’
