How does memory influence the movement and foraging behaviour of predators?

Hosted by the School of Biological Sciences

There are many factors that drive movement and foraging decisions of predators, one of which is their ability to remember information about their environment and prey distributions. We took different approaches (biologging and passive acoustics) to test hypotheses on the influence of memory on the movement of marine top predators, in particular bottlenose dolphins and harbour seals.
